My name is Chris Jtot. Born in Greeley, Colorado, I have always been an artist, whether that meant painting skateboards, tagging signs, or drawing in class. Out of high school, I worked at Distortions Unlimited, where I sculpted and created horrific monsters, animatronics and masks to widen my artistic horizons and artistic ability.
In 1993, I started working for Greg Skibo at Skibo’s Tattoo as his apprentice/shop hand. Skibo taught me everything I knew about tattooing culture, techniques, and quality, and bring it with me into every tattoo I design today.
In 1998, My wife Krisha and I opened Phantom 8 Tattoo and Piercing in Englewood, Colorado. Over 28 years later our team has grown and changed, but our commitment to art and quality in modifications is always consistent.
Outside of tattooing, I continue to make art in multiple forms, including prints, stickers, and I perform as the lead for my band, Toaster Bath. In my personal life, you can catch me paddleboarding, riding my motorcycle, or at Jui jitsu.
